The “Community Partnership” was formed in 2006 by a group of concerned
parents and community members who realize the needs of the students of
the Egg Harbor Township School District are in jeopardy due to growth in
population, coupled with drastic cuts in State and Federal aid to
education.
The non-profit organization is dedicated to providing financial support
to the Egg Harbor Township School District, its students, and programs
and services offered.
Fundraising Goals of the “Community Partnership” include: Land
Acquisition; Capitol Projects; Academic Enhancements; Technology
Upgrades; Extra-Curricular Activities.
Governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of prominent area leaders and
caring individuals who are dedicating their time and efforts to provide
an additional funding arm to supplement existing programs in danger of
being dropped by budgetary constraints, institute new and innovative
programs within the schools, to purchase cutting-edge technology for
classroom use, and for additional construction projects needed to
alleviate the severely overcrowded schools.
Serving all ten Egg Harbor Township Public Schools including the Egg
Harbor Township High School, Alternative High School, Fernwood Ave.
Middle School, Alder Ave. Middle School, Dr. Joyanne D. Miller
Elementary School, C.J. Davenport Elementary School, Davenport Primary
School, E.H. Slaybaugh Elementary School, Slaybaugh Primary School and
H.R. Swift School.
